Why Kangaroo leather? 

Kangaroo leather is excellent for strops because it is exceptionally durable yet thin, providing a firm surface with minimal give. Its fine grain helps polish edges finely and evenly. Additionally, it has a natural resistance to stretching, maintaining its shape over time. These qualities make it ideal for precision sharpening.
